Another week, another challenge.
Anything goes, the perfect excuse to finally start with the masks I've been planning to alter for a while now.
I didn't make a lot of progress picture's but here's what I do have :
This is what the mask looks like without any altering. You can buy these in some of the craftingshops around. |
The result : A completely over-the-top, steampunk-style crown! This is also the picture I will enter in the SSS&S Anything Goes! challenge. |
Dee...what a WAYYYY COOOOOL mask you created!! Wonderful details!!
ReplyDeletethanks BUNCES for playing along with this weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show!!!
Thank you so much! I had lots of fun with altering the mask!
DeleteThanks Dee for stopping over and sending your good wishes! I am AMAZED at your altering of objects! I have never done it before. You are such an inspiration! That mosaic on the mask is fabulous. I had to smile at the nerf gun! WOW. The bottles are sooooo pretty..I know people would love to have them! Thanks for helping me see art in objects like a nerf gun!
ReplyDeleteHi Winnie, Thank you so much for your lovely comment!
DeleteI'm trying to learn the techniques from Tim Holtz and other scrapbooking crafters like yourself but without the right products it's really hard to get any good results. Can't wait untill I've saved up some money to order the distress inks and other stuff to start creating. Untill then, I'm enjoying myself with the altering of various items. Whatever I can think of, I'll just try it out!
The Nerf Guns are really fun to use, we showed them to some friends of ours and after an indoor shoot-out they all went to the store and bought some. Once they are all finished we are going to a gym and have a huge shoot out! It's just so much fun to alter them and the shooting is making you feel like a kid again!
Thank you again for visiting my blog!
