 Tim Holtz ~12 Tags of 2013 ~ Januari

My first project of 2013 is, of cours, a Tim Holtz tag. 

Since I didn't have the embossingfolder he used I decided to use a piece of  scrapbookpaper which has a similar print.

I don't have any Tim Holtz stamps so I printed the text on some canvas.

I used a clock embellishment instead of the stamp/ticket Tim used. 
I did have all the sprocket gears I didn't have any mini gears.

I embossed the gears with a embossing folder to make them look more distressed.
After that I painted them with some crackle paint.

    Wonderful, Dee! Happy New Year! What a fun way to start the year! Your gears are fabulous! Did you notice I was one of the winners for Dec! I screamed out when I heard..It was funny. I am glad to see you here blogging. Can't wait to see more! I am totally addicted to Jim the Gentleman crafter now that you pointed him out..Oh my are his videos something else!

      Hi Winnie, it's good to be back! Happy New Year! I'm so happy to hear you've won the december Tim-Tag, I didn't notice it untill you've mentioned it here. Jim is awesome, really love his posts/video's and style. Funny to hear how you got addicted to his blog because of me!
